Here's another piece from an excellent estate in Tulsa, a woman who showed excellent taste in her surroundings.
This mold gives you the best of two worlds...it's quite useable as a mold and has a hold for hanging on the wall as a decoration when its in between "jobs." The stamp on the inside states it's Le Cordon Bleu for the Franklin Mint dated 1986. It's in splendid condition, no chips or cracks with bright (still) hand painting. It measures 8" in length, 7" wide including hole, and about 3-1/4" high; other pieces like this are referred to as porcelain, so we'll assume this is also.
The sweet lamb is cozy in a bed of flowers while he watches butterflies enjoying them as well. The floral motif around the sides picks up the pinks and greens from the top. Soft aqua and mint green edging completes this quiet scene.
Who can resist a piece this charming...and useful too!
